STOP! Put those tweezers down Elfette, because the brow police is HERE. If your brows are pencil thin, it’s time to whip them back into shape with four easy steps. Big, beautiful, brows are in right now and they’re super easy to create with e.l.f. Cosmetics.
Comb through your brow hair using the e.l.f. Studio Brow Comb, and then tame your unruly hairs with the treatment side of the e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Treat & Tame. Regrow your brow hairs and keep them all shaped in the same direction at the same time!
If you just don’t know what shape to fill in or how to create a shape, use the e.l.f. Essential Eyebrow Stencil Kit. Before applying any powders/gels, hold each stencil over your current brow to find the one that best works for you. To make things easier, apply the stencil to your face using a very gentle tape to hold it in place.
Using a powder 2-3 shades lighter than your natural hair color, Brush it on very softly to fill in the stencil. This will give you a guide to where your deeper shades should fall. You can use the matte powder from an eyeshadow pakette, or the e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit. To choose the correct shade of powder, try to identify your hair color tone, (are you warm / cool / ash / etc.).
Remove the stencil gently and then begin to detail your brow using the e.l.f. Studio Angled Eyeliner Brush and a gel that matches your hair color, from the e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit. The shades not deep enough in gel? Try using a black cream eyeliner instead! The key to this step is to create very fine lines where your brow is naturally darker (the mid section and ends). Try NOT to use too much gel all over or your brow will look too heavy.
