Kiss-kiss, smooch-smooch elfette! Oh those lips! If you want to achieve a fun and refined lip, then you’re in the right place. You might think throwing on your lipstick one time will do the trick, but precisely defining the shape of your lip takes a little bit more time and practice. Turn heads at the next event with this PRETTY POUT!

Moisturize the lips using a balm and prevent the lip color from settling into the lines with the e.l.f. Studio Lip Balm SPF 15, in “Peaceful Pink.”

Draw in the edges of your lip to create a guide that will hold in your lipstick. Take it slow with this step, as it will define the whole look. Make sure the outer edges are clean and crisp- even use a concealer with brush to clean up if needed! I’ve used the e.l.f. Studio Lip Liner to fill and shape.

I always love experimenting with different products and their uses, so for this lip I used the HD CREAM BLUSH in “Diva.” Not only is it a gorgeous blush color, but it can also be used as a matte lipstick! Apply it with the brush that comes with the lip liner mentioned above, to avoid staining your fingers.

Perfect the look by going back in with your lip liner to clean up edges and also add extra protection against fraying. Add the liner only where it’s needed and try not to increase the size of your lip!

For a very matte feel, apply a bit of HD powder under any color and directly onto the lips using your finger! This can also help lipstick from fraying!
